Meet the Professional Behind the Brand

Hi, I’m Denise Brumley and I’m the person behind Mind Your Bizzness. I’m down-to-earth, I’m straight with people, and I genuinely enjoy helping business owners understand what their numbers are really saying—because once you understand the story in your financials, you can make better decisions with less stress.

Before starting my firm, I spent 7 years as a manager in a Disputes, Forensics, & Business Valuation practice at a Top 100 public accounting firm in Atlanta, where I led valuation and damages engagements across a wide range of industries and purposes—from tax and financial reporting to M&A support and litigation matters. I also managed 12-15 projects at once and supervised a team (so yes, I’m calm in the chaos and I know how to drive deliverables to the finish line).

I graduated from Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business where I double majored, graduating with business degrees in accounting and finance. Shortly after I became a licensed Certified Public Accountant and, after finding my passion lies in litigation and valuation, I obtained the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) credential which allows me to testify as an expert witness in valuation-related matters.

What I love most is the one-on-one work. I learn your business and your industry directly from you, and then I translate your financials into plain English—what’s strong, what needs attention, and what moves will actually improve your results.
